Rev. Joe Bartlett will officiate. Interment will follow at Bomar Point Cemetery. Robinson, who died Wednesday in a local hospital, was born Jan. 9, 1890 in Coffman [sic: Kaufman] County, Texas. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William A. [sic: L.] Robinson, he moved to Ardmore in 1902 and married Nona Mae Chisum Jan. 12, 1921, at Marietta. He was a retired farmer and an 18-year employee of Oklahoma Pipeline Co. He was preceded in death by his wife Jan. 28, 1962; and a son, Edwin, in 1924. Survivors include two sons, Wayne E., Denison, Texas, and Harold Gene, Ardmore; four daughters, Geraldine Beeks, Oakley, California, Charlene Holliman, Mary Nall and Genita Peoples, Ardmore, a half brother, Lidney D. Ivy, Anderson, California; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchid. Bearers will be grandsons, Charles Shockley [in-law], Curis Peoples [in-law], Buddy Boydston [in-law], Tim Holliman, Bill and Alan Hix. -- Published in the Daily Ardmoreite, Ardmore, Oklahoma, Friday, June 23, 1989.
