I am looking for any Robinsons born in Ga who received Texas land grands. Also any Robinsons in Georgia with the name Walter popping up! My Robinson unknown frist name, probably Walter, was born about 1820-1830 in Georgia and had land grants in Texas. He died in 1857-1858 and his heirs received the land in Llano County, TX. I am trying to trace this Mr Robinson through the land grants and hoping to find his family and relations. I am also trying to find out who claimed the land and when. (The name of his widow and children.) I have the son, who is named Walter John Robinson, in Texas in 1880 in Coryell County. I lost track of the son between 1860-1880 and hoping to find him in records. The fathers name is unknown but we think its Walter. We think there may be brothers of the father named William and Thomas Robinson, both born before 1830. Any help appreciated.
