You are correct in thinking that his father, John R. Robinson, was married twice. He first married Elizabeth McKinney in Tennessee I do not know the date but think that it was in Kingston Tennessee. They had five children: Thomas Matthew, Mancel, James Monroe, Millie and Frances. Elizabeth died giving birth to Frances in 1852 and John R. then married Mary Ann Sanford in Cedartown, Carroll County, Georgia on 8-23-1853. John and Mary Ann also had five children: George Allen, John Daniel, Nathan Harvey, Mary Virginia Belle Zora Catherine, and Harriet Annie. I have quite a bit of info on John R's children with Mary Sanford and on James Monroe's descendants. I would like info on Mancel, Thomas Matthew, Millie and Frances, if you have any.
