Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta. Harold was born on Oct. 18, 1927, the son of Emmett and Sarah (Bailey) Robinson. Harold grew up on the family farm in Worcester, and attended the Worcester school. He married Helen M. Phillips on June 28, 1947, in Worcester. Harold earned his Electronics Technology Certificate in 1956. He ran Rob's T.V. Repair Shop on Main Street in Davenport and also the Delhi Radio and T.V. Shop in Delhi from 1956-1985. He then worked with J.M.F. Association with Pete Haddam in Oneonta from 1987-1990. Harold was the past president of the D.&H. Bowling league on Thursday nights. He was an avid gardener, bird watcher, nature lover, past fisherman and frequently attended flea markets. Harold was the father of the band "Jr. & the Nite Raiders," which were his three sons and a daughter-in-law. Harold is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Helen M. Robinson of Davenport; two brothers, Homer Robinson and Arnold Robinson and wife, Noel, all of Worcester; three sisters, Frances McMullen of Port Crane, Ruth Knapp of Owego and Esther Walzer of Stanton, Calif.; six children, Harold Jr. and wife, Betty, of Hartwick, Eugene of Davenport, Lyle and wife, Dorothy, of Davenport, Patricia Craft of Hobart, Victoria Zimmerman and husband, Charles III, of Davenport and Sarah McLean and husband, William, of Stamford; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Furman and Dorothy Becker; a brother, Kenneth Robinson; three infant children; a daughter-in-law, Bertha Robinson; and a son-in-law, Richard Craft. The twinkle in this dear brother, father, and grandfather's blue eyes will be dearly missed. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 115 Main St., Worcester, with the Rev. Frank MacCracken Sr. officiating. Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester, in the spring. Contributions may be made to the Davenport First Responders, P.O. Box 233, Davenport, N.Y. 13750.
