Do you have any further info on this William? I am trying to find my Ggrandfather's parents. I know that he is listed in the 1880 census as b 1875 or 1873 and in Indiana. But I am not sure that this is correct. He was not raised by his real parents and that is my problem. I do not know for sure if he was really even born in Indiana or if they just put that due to the fact that the family that raised him was living there at the time. His "adoptive" parents are from Germany and Scotland. So I am just checking all possible leads. Thanks you, Marcia
