Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.ca/mbexec/msg/5543/3cDBAIB/8310 Message Board Post: Looking for any info about Christopher and Ann Robinson who at one time lived in Huron County, Ontario for at least the birth of their first three children. I have conflicting birthdates for Christopher both estimated from dates on his tombstone. It says that he died at age 66y 8m 26d on may 26 1885 making his birth in 1818. In 1881 census he is listed as age 45 making his birth abt 1835. Problem with all this is if he died in 1885, why is he listed in 1891 census so am thinking that tombstone stranscript is wrong. I've yet to get to the cemetery to find out. The three children born in Huron Co. are Margaret Jane b. dec 11 1856, William b.mar 30 1859 and Charles b. may 6 1861. Margaret and Charles list their place of birth as Bayfield on their marriage certificates, but William just lists Ontario. The rest of the children are: Richard may 26 1868, Christopher mar 19 1870, James mar 19 1871, and Eliza b apr 8 1875. They moved to Dawn Towpship, Lambton Co., Ontario, ! by 1881. I cannot find birth, marriage or death registrations for Christopher nor an obit in the local paper. None of the other records give me any clue to who his parents are. Can anyone help?
