He was born 05 Jun 1811 in NH. He was married about 1830 to Amanda Wood (b. 04 Nov 1787, d. 21 Sep 1878). He died on 20 Sep 1894. Both John and his wife were burried in Ascutneyville Cemetery, Weathersfield, VT. They had three children: Willard H. Robinson (b. abt 1831), Elsie M. Robinson (b. 21 Sep 1835, d. 07 Sep 1903) and Walter S. Robinson (b. abt 1840, d. aft 1880). John and Amanda are buried with Amanda's parents, Isaiah Wood and Azubah (nee Burlingame) Wood. I have been able to locate John and Amanda in the 1860 and 1870 Weathersfield, VT census but have been able to locate little other information. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am researching all the Walter Robinson I can find in order to see if I can find my guy who was the father of Mary Robinson b1850, Emma Robinson b1851 and Walter John Robinson born 1857 in Georgia. The mother was Sarah F (Calhoun?) Robinson, also from GA or SC. I do not know where the father was from later census records say the childrens father born in GA. In looking for my guy I found many Walters, most I can prove are not mine. Here is one Walter with no middle name who was born about the right place and time to be your guy. Hope this helps.
