My great grandfather Frederick Robinson was born in Trent Vale in about 1862. I am not yet 100% sure, but I believe that he was the son of James Robinson born about 1821 who is listed in the 1871 census as aged 50, occupation wheelwright, born at Tittensor. Would this James have been your great great grandfather? I have just ordered a birth certificate for my great grandfather Frederick and hope to use that to confirm his parents as James & Susannah Robinson.
