I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as "Grandmother STEWART" which was taken at the Winter Studio in Eugene, Oregon. The photograph may be a reprint of an earlier tin type photograph (from 1860's or 1870's) converted to a cabinet card, likely in the 1890's or early 1900's with the woman in the photograph appearing to be in her 70's or 80's at the time it was taken. In addition, someone has written "Grandmother of Henry Albert STEMMER (his Mother's Mother)" on the back of the photograph. Thanks to the assistance of a STEMMER Family Researcher I know the following about Henry and his family: Henry A. STEMMER died in Clackamas Co.
