    3. Barbara, >From LDS film #0873925 "Centennial Celebration 1895, History of Litchfield Maine" p287: I have the following notes on your Levi's family: Jabez b. Falmouth, Ma 15 May 1747 Moved to Gardiner (Maine), lived there for 3 or 4 years and in 1781 moved to Litchfield (Maine). 1809/10 he was the Rep.General to Court of Massachusetts. m. Martha MIGGS, 26 Feb 1769 (she b. 25 Sept 1746, d. 26 July 1810). He was killed by a falling tree 23 Mar 1812. Had 12 children, including Levi, b. 26 Nov 1782. - he married 1) Lois Richardson, 2) Betsey Cleaves. Although Jabez was old enough to serve in the war, none of his children were. I also have notes from "A List of Soldiers from Brunswick and Topsham, The Several Indian Wars" which lists a Nahum Robinson twice, from 1735-37. Since that is such a rare name, and is listed in Thompson's per message below, it may be worth checking into as a descendent. The family claims Rev War patriot but does not know the name. I was hoping if I could find out his parents I could research, or if I found out siblings, maybe something in their history might mention the Rev War patriot. Thanks. I will copy that part here and then put the source web address at the end. There is an index at the end of it and the page #s are top left of each new page. Difficult to follow. (6) Nahum Robinson; d. Minneapolis, Minn., 1895. (6) Sarah Ann Robinson. (6) Margaret Robinson; d. Great Falls, N. H. As you can see his father was Jabez Robinson... the web site is: http://www.archive.org/stream/ourthompsonfamil00lcsinn/ourthompsonfamil00lcsinn_djvu.txt The second reference shows Levi's parents as Jabez Robinson and Martha Hatch of Falmouth, MA. It doesn't say on this one if he was in the Revolutionary War. I believe "The History of Litchfield, Maine," has something about him as he was an early settler there. I am sure you know how to find the names of those in the Revolution. The next reference is "Eastham, Wellflet and beyond." When you get to it click on the tab "individual style" under "everyone, especially Wellfleet." Scroll to bottom and click on "Surname list" Then scroll down to Robinson and go from there. You first ancestor on this one is Jabez b. 1737 and then you can trace it back from there... Have FUN with this..
