Hi, One way these errors arise (in part) is due to the way various genealogy programs add data, including the web-based systems like Ancestry.com. If you mindlessly click ADD on a family tree, without painstakingly going through every entry and checking it for accuracy, you have added it. Mary Price, daughter of Richard and Priscilla Crabtree Price, could not be the mother of David Robinson, who married Frances Unknown. David was born around 1784 (this has been established through various records), and Mary was allegedly born in 1781. Now, unless biological facts have changed so drastically since the 1700's, it is impossible that a 4 year old had a child. Please stop copying other people's misinformation and reposting it. Genealogy is about questioning the past and finding the answers to a long hidden puzzle. If you aren't going to take the time to question it, then please hire a professional to do it for you rather than leading people down the wrong road.
