    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: lonestar357 Surnames: ROBINSON, SYMONS Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.robinson/9637.2.2.1.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Shirley, that's a very good question. My copy was passed down through my family. I seriously doubt obtaining one nowadays would even be possible unless through sheer luck. Should one get lucky and find one, they'd be shocked to realize it probably weighs 15 pounds since it was printed on only one side of the page. Making it even more "user-unfriendly," it contains neither an index nor a table of contents. I spent quite a bit of time extracting information and entering it onto a genealogical data base last year. I do monitor this message board and run queries through it. Although I don't nesessarily announce the fact that I've done so unless I get a match. Mr. Oates has, as this Robinson Family's Patriarch: 1. Thomas Robinson was born Between 1675 and 1676 in Pasquotank Co., NC and died January 31, 1719. He married Sarah Symons October 9, 1711 in Newbegun Creek, Pasquotank Co., NC. She was born Between 1679 and 1680 in Pasquotank Co., NC and died August 28, 1717 in Albermarle Co., NC.. If you'd like for me to search for something specific, by all means let me know, and I'll gladly do so. I didn't digitize this thing for any other reason other than to share its contents with interested family researchers. I'm also attaching a copy of the behemoth's cover, in case you - or others - might want to look for a copy. Cordially, ~ Jeff Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
