Oliver, 81, who departed this life Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mrs. Oliver was born Sept. 10, 1928 in Anderson, South Carolina, a daughter of Smith and Mader Asbury Robinson. She was a homemaker, a member of the Holy Bible Church of God, served as mother of the church, chairman of the trustee board, assistant Sunday School teacher, musician and assistant financial treasurer for the Senior Missions. She leaves four children, Linda R. Oliver, Diane (William) Artis, the Rev. W.T. Oliver Jr. and Geneva L. Tate, all of Youngstown; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Willie, Phillip Robinson and Arthur Hill; and a sister, Louise Robinson. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
