He signed a will on 7 September 1812 in Bennettsville, Marlboro County, South Carolina. He died about 1812 in Marlboro County, South Carolina. He was married to Christian USSERY (daughter of William Thomas USSERY and Sarah BAYES) abt 1755. Christian USSERY died in North Carolina. He was married to 2nd wife Obedience LEGGETT ADAMS in NC. Luke ROBINSON and Christian USSERY had the following children: John ROBINSON (born on 6 May 1756). William ROBINSON was born about 1755-1760 in North Carolina. *(The family probably moved to SC post 1771 and pre 1780, otherwise the boundaries just changed.) Christian ROBINSON (born about 1775). (The 2nd marriage to Obedience was before this daughter was born. Dau. was most likely named after Luke's deceased 1st wife. Note the 20 year time difference in births. They are all said to be Lukes children. I believe this Christian is also Obedience Adam's daughter.) Leggett ROBINSON (born in 1779). Named after 2nd wifes maiden name. Thomas ROBINSON. Samuel ROBINSON. b1789 in Marlboro Co SC, d 1858 Fayette Co GA w Mary Jepthah ROBINSON . *According to the will, there were also at least three known and "beloved friends and step children": William, John, and Shockley Adams, children of Obedience Adams and her former husband. I am descended from Luke's son John: John ROBINSON , (Luke-1) was born on 6 May 1756 in North Carolina. He served in the military in 1782 in Chowan County, North Carolina. He was married to Lydia BRINN on 30 March 1778 in Chowan Co., NC. Lydia BRINN was born about 1764. She died on 29 June 1844 in Jasper Co., Georgia. John ROBINSON and Lydia BRINN had the following children: Christian ROBINSON (born in 1779). Luke Jesse ROBINSON (born on 22 June 1781). Lucy ROBINSON (born in 1782). William ROBINSON .
