Barnabus Robinson and his family lived in Collins, NY from 1820 to 1840 when they moved to Wayne Co, MI. They were Quakers and left the Collins Monthly Mtg, joining the Adrian, MI Monthly Meeting. They may have originated in Chilmark, MA. His son Elihu was my husband's great-grandfather. He married Mary Peters in Eaton County, MI, later living in Barry County, MI. Descendents moved north and settled in Emmet County, MI where many still live. Has anyone come up with any new info on Barnabus or the early family?
