He married Nancy Ann Pratt in Chester Co, SC 4/25/1833. They had 9 or 10 children. I am particually interested in finding the names of HIS parents or siblings. I have found information here on the parents of Nancy Ann Pratt. Another interest is in the name "Hartwell Spain" Robinson who was his second son. James Madison left SC with his family in 1844 and moved to Pontotoc Co, MS. In 1869 he led a wagon train to Texas, and ended up dying in Ellis Co. 11/6/1889.
