As I stated in the original posting, I subscribe to this message board and receive queries through email. If I see a familiar name in the query, I run it through the data base and look for a match. Unfortunately, the names contained in the recent flurry of activity here aren't matching up to those contained in this publication. It occurs to me that perhaps I've not included enough information which may allow fellow researchers to make a connection. So, here is the line of descent from the earliest known ancestor (Thomas Robinson) down to William "Choctaw Bill" Robinson. It may also help to include that this branch of Robinsons was in the process of western migration as can be seen by William "Choctaw Bill" Robinson's slow but steady progress through Alabama, into Mississippi, then ultimately into Texas. His numerous descendants can't easily be defined by geography, but generally they remained in the State of Texas. Again, if you think your ancestor may be among those contained in this book, I'm always happy to do a look up at your behest. ~ Jeff Thomas Robinson B: 1675~1676, Pasquotank Co, NC. I've not included my direct line of descendancy from this point forward, as it is through William "Choctaw Bill" Robinson, who had two wives. With his first wife, Julia Lucinda Fulford, he fathered eight children: Williamson Milburn "Tump" Robinson, Alsey Robinson, John Robinson, Rebecca Robinson, Emeline Robinson, James Franklin Robinson, Julia Ann Robinson, and WIlliam Harrison Robinson. With his second wife, Irena Isabel Brent, he fathered six more children: Benjamin Charnel Robinson, Ann Elizabeth Robinson, Obadiah B. Robinson, Joseph Monroe Robinson, Lucinda Jane Robinson, and Isabella Corienne Robinson. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
