I find it interesting that my 4th great grandfather, a William Robinso, born abt 1895 in DE, is believed to also have made way to Ohio where his wife, Catherine May, was born and then family moved to Indiana by 1850. I've have yet to find his parents but always seem to run across other Robinsons from the MD/DE area going to OH, IN, IA. Do you know if your Joseph Robinson was a Quaker or Methodist? He was born in Calvert County, Maryland around 1800. He brought his children, John William (1830-1912) and Barbara Jane (1831-1902) to Ohio in about 1846-47, where they lived with the Kinsey Skinner family in Belmont County, Ohio. After his arrival in Ohio, I have been unable to trace Joseph. I think his wife, Elizabeth Fowler, must have died in Maryland. Any information would be most welcome, as I have struggled with this brick wall for some time. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
