Oh well.... I have info on several Walters, and would be glad to share. If you email me direct I can give what I have, but here are some basic names to start. Walter C. Robinson in the 1900 Census, 1st Ward, Fulton County (Atlanta)age 44. The address was 363 Whitehall. He listed being born in GA, his father in S. Carolina, mother in Scotland, and listed his occupation as physician. Listed with him was Minnie, wife, age 37, born Tennessee, her father born TN, mother born Virginia. They were married 15 years, and she had given birth to four children, two were living at that time. Also listed with them was a daughter, which appears to be "Jane", but it could be Joss or Jass. She was 8 at this census. Son Walter M. Robinson, age 5, was listed. In addition, Walter's brother Arthur (age 47) born Georgia. He gave his occupation as dry goods salesman. In a later census this same person lists his middle name as Clarence.(see me for more.) Here is your guy in 1880: ----1880 US census for Monroe NY Name: Walter Robinson Residence: Rochester, Monroe, New York Birth date: 1873 Birthplace: New York, United States Relationship to head-of-household: Son Father's name: James Robinson Father's birthplace: New York, United States Mother's name: Emma Robinson Mother's birthplace: New York, United States Race or color (expanded): White Ethnicity: American Gender: Male Marital status: Single Age: 7 years NARA film number: T9-0863 Page: 84 Page: D Entry number: 998 Film number: 1254863 Collection: United States Census, 1880 I will look for later info. Hi Dianne, Thanks for the reply, I did find Walter was an actor for a Theater Co. in Manhattan, he moved to L.A. about 1910 and played in 177 silent movies. He basically played small rolls and went by the names Spike Robinson, W.W. Robinson, William C. Robinson and Billy Robinson, however his real name was Walter Charles Robinson. Walter died in Maywood, CA in 1946, I haven't found an obit, or burial site. The links will take you to his acting career ----- Original Message ----- http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0733176/ http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0733176/bio I appreciate your help!
