The birth date may be off, however she was older than Albert. I find variance in her age as listed in records I have found. My maternal grandmother never gave me more than the name of Jane Robinson, however, EJR's death is documented in the family Bible records of John S (son-in-law of EJR) & Sarah Elizabeth Wise (dau of EJR) Benningfield that I have. 1880 US Census lists EJR as Lewgenia Wise b 1826 1870 US Census lists EJR as Lengenia Wise b 1820 1860 US Census lists EJR as Jane Wise b 1810 Marriage record lists EJR as Lugenia Robeson b 1827 Albert W Wise required signature of father, Samuel Wise on marriage bond The first time I can find Eugenia Jane Robinson in Kentucky is in the 1860 Census. She is listed with her husband Albert W Wise. She married to Albert W Wise 15 Mar 1855 in Taylor County, KY. Albert b abt 1834 KY son of Samuel Wise & Mary Ann Tucker. Albert & Eugenia Robinson Wise had 2 daughters: Sarah Elizabeth Wise b 1856 d 1920 (my great grandmother) and Mary Martha Wise b 1858 d 1931 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
