My GGgrandfather, Eliphas "Lifus" Roberson was born in Buncombe Cty. in 1827. I can't find a direct connection but my family has the names Eliphas, Julius, Martha, Matilda, James, William, and several other names that your family has. I have had my "Y" DNA done but Eliphas was on my mother's side. I have found one document that names Eliphas' father as Julius Roberson but no definite proof.
