All I can find on his parents are that his father is Edgar Robinson, and the mother on the death certificate is unknown. Of his sisters, I know Hattie and Getrude are deceased. Of his sons, I know Robert is deceased; I have just started this research, so I have a long way to go. He is buried in Keenan Cemetery along with my grandmother, Gertrude, and his grandson, my uncle, Charles Lee Carson. I have included his obituary: Charles Jefferson, residence 2440 Crown Rd., died Saturday. Survived by wife, Mrs. Amanda Robinson; five daughters, Mrs. Doshie Bennett, Mrs. Dee Mitchell, Mrs. Hattie Carson, Mrs. Ethel Sullivan, Mrs. Gertrude Carson; four sons, Ernest, Ed, Arthur and Robert Robinson.
