Author: margastra1 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.robinson/10220/mb.ashx Message Board Post: The Norwegian girl Agnes Berntsen married a man called Lucian Robinson in Minot, North Dakota on March 31st 1906. They lived in Portal on the border, where they had two children. In 1909 Agnes returned to Norway with her two children, pregnant with a child who was born in January 1910. Whether she left her husband, or whether he died and she was a widow we do not know. There were stories circulating in the family about Lucian being killed in a mine, or in a railway accident, but we have no documentation of this. We would be grateful for any information about Lucian, his life, his death and his background. He is believed to have been Canadian or of UK/Canadian birth.
