He is our "brick wall". There are numerous people who were born around this time frame with the name Edwin Robinson and with varying middle initials. Many people get it right when doing their research, but I am appalled at the number of people who will grab research for a person with the same or similar name and that someone else has done and make that person theirs and not check their facts. One example is that someone has hijacked our Edwin S Robinson and put him into a family in VA. this myth is being copied by many people and it causes problems down the line. My aunts and a cousin and I have done a lot of travel to cemeteries and record offices where he lived trying to provide our family with as correct a genealogy record as we can and when we do we document what we find. If we go in the wrong direction, we correct our mistakes. This is not happening in many cases and I believe future generations will have a harder time when they see those errors in their own genealogy.
