    3.   Let me ask a dumb question; What is the “master index for the Family Search Pedigree Resource File” that was mentioned ?   Thank you,   William   A descendant of Major John Robinson (ca 1708), son of Christopher Robinson (1681).   f.wiatt@yahoo.com   ________________________________ From: Helen <ehr763@ntwifi.com> To: robinson@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, December 11, 2011 10:08 AM Subject: [ROBINSON] Robinson, Henry L. Helen Battleson, I saw in the master index for the Family Search Pedigree Resource File you had submitted a Henry L Robinson born in Darien, Walworth Co., WI in 1867. He is my husband's great uncle; he was born in May 1868, the third son born to Luther Otis and Nettie (Annette Sweet) Robinson. He married Mollie Dwyer and had 2 sons, Earl Lincoln and Garnet William. His family migrated to CA before 1920. Luther Otis was the son of Eleazer Spencer and Dimmis (Gates) Robinson. My husband's DNA matches Robinsons coming out of Vermont to NY to Illinois. I would appreciate anything that you can share on this family; I am stuck in NY with Eleazer Spencer Robinson. 3. William, Not a dumb question. The Familysearch Pedigree Resource File can be found at www.familysearch.org If you're at the new homepage you'll see a teal box on the right that says "Go to previous site" (this is how I know to get to the Pedigree Resource File). Click on it. Click on "Search Records" near the upper left.In the gold/tan box you'll see "Pedigree Resource File". This is the file. The Master Index is the CD that comes with the Pedigree Resource File that you can purchase from catalog/store. At least, I believe you can still purchase them. I found this: "Q. Where do I go to order or download your products? A. To order online, click Order/Download Products. http://store.lds.org/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TopCategories1_715839595_10557_-1_ You can also place an order with Distribution Services at 1-800-537-5971 in the United States and Canada. In other countries, dial your international prefix plus 801-240-1126 to learn the location of the distribution center that serves your area." hope this helps, Teresa On Sun, Dec 11, 2011 at 10:20 AM, Fontaine Wiatt <f.wiatt@yahoo.com> wrote: > > Let me ask a dumb question; What is the “master index for the Family > Search Pedigree Resource File” that was mentioned ? > > Thank you, > > William > > A descendant of Major John Robinson (ca 1708), son of Christopher Robinson > (1681). > > f.wiatt@yahoo.com > > > > ________________________________ > From: Helen <ehr763@ntwifi.com> > To: robinson@rootsweb.com > Sent: Sunday, December 11, 2011 10:08 AM > Subject: [ROBINSON] Robinson, Henry L. > > Helen Battleson, I saw in the master index for the Family Search Pedigree > Resource File you had submitted a Henry L Robinson born in Darien, Walworth > Co., WI in 1867.
