Mert was born Aug 31, 1876 in Maine (probably Dover area). He moved to Midland County Michigan with his family in the 1880's.He married Lura May Heminger Jan 1901. He & his family lived in Alma Michigan in 1920 US census. Mert was my great uncle & our families have lost touch over the years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
