    3. Brian   I wish I did; however, I'm not even sure they had death notices or obits in Marion Co. 1863.  He and Catherine are buried in Indiana Cemetery.  A distant cousin told me that her mom said that there were two daughters buried there but didn't know if it was Margaret and Frances or perhaps others.  Someone also mentioned that William ran a tavern/hotel in Marion Co. I have also tried to go by the 1840 Fountain Co., IN census and see if I could match up other children in 1850 and beyond, but no luck so far.  If you ever do go to the Knoxville court house and find anything, I'd be great full.  David --- On Sun, 8/7/11, Brian Robinson <brobinso@netins.net> wrote: From: Brian Robinson <brobinso@netins.net> Subject: Re: [ROBINSON] William Robinson - looking for information To: robinson@rootsweb.com Date: Sunday, August 7, 2011, 4:06 PM Do you have a death certificate for William? Author: JackieFry05 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.robinson/10169/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I thought I would appeal to fellow researchers here since I'm having no luck finding this William Robinson among the dozens I've come across lately. Of the five I thought were mine they too had parents named John and Mary. Here's what I know hope it helps weed through the many William Robinsons: He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada 1849 or 1850 I know this from the Canadian census records and because my ancestor Edmund Lowell C. Robinson was born in 1848 and another sibling, Alfred was born in 1851. His parents were John Robinson and Mary Elizabeth (sometimes Eliza, sometimes M.E.) Wilkins. I have been able to track William up to and including the 1871 Canadian census but after that he vanishes, I don't know if he came to America like his other siblings and father (his mother died in 1879 in Canada) or if he stayed in Canada. One sibling moved to Michigan and I thought I'd found him in the same town but when I finally found THAT William's parents (another John and Mary) I knew it wasn't him. I appreciate any help you can give me on this puzzle, as he is the only sibling of Edmund that I haven't found past 1871. He married Cora Flowers (b abt 1885) and had several children, including my Gfather, Woodrow Wilson. I have the family living in Franklin County, Mississippi in 1920 and 1930, but can't find any record of the marriage, nor of Ernest's birth or who his parents are. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Corey Webb Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
