She knows her biological mothers name was Della May Robinson. She doesn't know her mothers birthdate or where her mother was born. Her father's name was Clayton Issac Baxter, Sr. The same story with him. No date of birth or place of birth. She knows she was born in Nov.1950 in she thinks Wayne County, Michigan. Della and Clayton also had a son born in Nov. 1949. My mother in law has since found him. She thinks maybe her mother and father were married in 1948 or 1949 in Virginia but I haven't found anything on that as of now. Please email me if you have anything. sweetchic99_98@yahoo.com That is all the info I have. She had a good life and she doesn't have any hard feelings towards any of them. She just wants to know where she came from. Thanks so much for reading this!

Do you have a timeline of where the family was, when and where? I find that it helps in tracing people to know who was where and when. Do you have both her parents names and when they left Michigan? Do you have WHen she was listed with one name and then when she was listed as another? Do you know approximate years in which she would have met her future husband and been married? If you can come up with a date range and then a location or even a location range, you can search church and county records for any marriage info in that period of time. I am in Michigan and if you arent, would be willing to help do any lookups here. Good luck. Diane (My GGGgrandmother was Emma Robinson Brandon, GA to LA to TX one generation earlier. I am hunting her parents and info too!) ----- Original Message ----- From: <deedles.beedle@verizon.net> To: <ROBINSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 16, 2006 12:55 AM Subject: [ROBINSON] Robinson, Emma (Kraushaar) > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Kraushaar > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3cDBAIB/7995 > > Message Board Post: > > Good morning. > > I am hoping to locate my GG Aunt, Emma G. There was also a Charles Robinson Chair Co. in Rochester, NY and the company at one point made the highly prized Robinson chairs in the mid 1800's. No more info on him........! The lst paragraph re John Robinson supposedly had a father by the name of Jeremiah fr. Canada. Believe John Robinson m. a Judith Macy in Rochester. Don't know if either was b. here, but Judith d. in Rochester abt. mid 1800's. Rochester records seem to show this Robinson going into a partnership w/my gggfather, Daniel Wood Chase, under the name of Robinson and Chase. J. Robinson died shortly thereafter either early 1865 or 67, in Rochester, and the firm became Chase and Otis ( a partner my D. W. Chase had in the nursery and lumger business.....! I know no more of John R.? Robinson, burial place, etc.....! FYI, Thee is info at the Roch. Public Lib. Scotty made quite few historically interesting and articulate posts on RootsWeb in the 1999 time frame, but his email address given at that time seems to be no longer valid. I have read that Scotty gathered much information on Jeffery Robertson (Robinson) of Henrico & Chesterfield counties Virginia early 1700's and I am looking for information on Jeffery I, or his descendants. My recent ancestors (Robertson) came from the Tennessee Valley region in the area between what is today Florence, AL and Savannah, TN. (b. 1835) and Annie M. (b. 1838) all in Ireland. The family immigrated to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania sometime in the 1840's. David Robinson (my 3rd great grandfather) married Margaret Dilks (daughter of Arthur and Margaret Dilks) in 1855. They had 9 children. The first 2 David (b,.1858) and Laura (b. 1862 married William Campbell Berry) were born in Pittsburgh. In 1865 the family moved to Danville, Franklin Township, Des Moines County, Iowa where they had the last 7 kids - Annie (married William Mayo), Olive (married William Todd), John, Frank, Clarence (married Lucille Knoll), Margaret (married Carl Metz) and George H. Robinson. George was born 19 Jan 1871 and died in 1907. As hard as I tried, I couldn't make your George fit into my family. Sorry Sheri
I have a copy of the 1840 census that has these three names next to each other. Does anyone have any info on this family and how they might be related? I am looking for a sibling/child list for each of these names. I am hoping to find a husband for a Sarah (F Calhoun?) Robinson and a father for Mary, Emma, and Walter John Robinson born in GA. (Later the names for Mary & Emma are listed in only one census as Robertson, so we believe it was listed as Robertson in that one year only.) I believe this John Robinson Sr may have been a Rev War pensioner/hero. Can anyone fill in some children/family names please? Thanks, Diane
