    1. Re ROBINSON/SHINTON families - Wolverhampton 1930s
    2. Nick Batley
    3. Hi to everyone on the list, I was wondering whether anybody is related to, or knew of, a Joan Agnes ROBINSON (b 1906 at Hadley, Shropshire), daughter of Armstrong Garfield ROBINSON and Florence Ada Beatrice SHINTON. Joan was known to be living her grandparents James and Agnes ROBINSON in 1932 at Warley House, Park Road East, Wolverhampton. Joan ROBINSON was still living at that address in November 1934. I don't know what happened to Joan after 1934 - we don't know whether she ever married, or even whether Joan remained in Wolverhampton. Any assistance in tracking down Joan or her descendants would be appreciated. Also, I am looking for information on Joan's sister, Elaine Vittoria ROBINSON (b 1911 at Watford). Not sure whether Elaine lived in Wolverhampton at any stage, but as the SHINTON family lived in the area, I am taking an educated guess that Elaine may well have spent some time in the district. Please excuse my crossposting - just trying to maximise my chances of success ! Thanking you in advance for your assistance, and regards, Nick Batley Sydney, Australia

I will still offer assistance for people wanting to place complete cemeteries online, whether on my site or on their own site.

    3. Hi Becky - I know you can email them, but they are no longer accepting single photos or small groups of photos. They only accept fully transcribed cemetery photos or at least half transcribed cemeteries. I am hoping to post photos myself and have looked around at where to post them. If your cemetery is in Texas the best place I like is the Texas Tombstone Project from rootsweb. Good luck and let me know what happens. You don't say anything about other Robinson family other than a father that may have served in the Civil War, do you know of uncles or aunts that help to find the family in a more round about way?
