My father Otis Robinson never knew his father but his father's name was Will Robinson married Ora Lee Shelton. We were told Will Robinson was a tall good looking man who was a ladies man. Some years later a group of women got together and stuck him to death with hat pins. I'm trying to find a marriage license for Will Robinson and Ora Lee Shelton. Ora Lee died in 1954, the year I was born. My father Otis Robins was born in 1912, I don't think Will and Ora had any other children together. If you have anymore information let me know. thanks Alice Robinson-Priester

I've "rescued" an old photograph of George ROBINSON which was taken at the Wrights Studio in Terre Haute, Indiana. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with George likely in his 20's at the time. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a photograph of George ROBINSON who was the son of Henry & Anna ROBINSON who were living in Terre Haute, IN during the 1870 census. Census records for the family are as follows: 1870 census of Terre Haute, IN: Henry ROBINSON, age 43, born NY Anna ROBINSON, age 41, born PA, Keeping House John ROBINSON, age 19, born NY, at Home Almira ROBINSON, age 13, born IN, at Home George ROBINSON, age 10, born IN, at Home Frank ROBINSON, age 8, born IN Tillie ROBINSON, age 6, born IN William ROBINSON, age 4, born IN Charles ROBINSON, age 6 months, born IN Phebe CENARD, age 43, born OH, a Domestic Servant In 1900 the family was still living in Terre Haute, IN with census information as follows: Henry ROBINSON, age 72, born July 1827, married 41 years, born NY, parents born NY, a Wholesaler Anna ROBINSON, wife, age 70, born Aug 1829, married 41 years, 9 children/5 living, born NY, parents born NY William A. ROBINSON, son, age 32, born Sept 1867, born IN, a Traveling Salesman Almira HOLMES, step-dau, age 44, born Apr 1856, born IN, parents born NY George ROBINSON was also included in the 1900 census of Terre Haute, IN living not too far from his parents: George ROBINSON, age 40, born Nov 1859, married 2 years, born IN, parents born NY/Canada, a Traveling Salesman Alice ROBINSON, wife, age 36, born June 1863, married 2 years, no children, born IN, parents born OH/PA I find George again in the 1920 census still living in Terre Haute, IN with records providing the following info: George H. ROBINSON, age 51, married 12 years, born IN, parents born NY/PA, a Brewery Secretary Alice ROBINSON, wife, age 48, married 12 years, no children, born IN, parents born OH Margarite ROBERTS, niece, age 17, born IL, parents born KY/IN Then in 1920 Alice is living in Terre Haute, IN without George, records are as follows: Alice ROBINSON, age 53, a widow, born IN, parents born OH/PA I'm hoping to locate someone from his family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Lelah ROBINSON which was taken at the DeGuire Studio in Winona, Minnesota. The photograph is dated 25 Dec 1899 with Lelah appearing to be in her teens or 20's at the time it was taken. I'm hoping to locate someone from her family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to its rightful place within the family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

I am looking for Jedediah Robinson who was born abt 1732 in Maine (maybe York County). He married Elizabeth Simonton on Nov 22, 1754, who also may have been born in York County, Maine. I think I have identified two children of the marriage. John Robinson, born May 10, 1759 in Cape Elizabeth and Stephen Robinson born about 1770 in Falmouth. My line is John Robinson who lives in Limington, Maine. Does anyone have these folks in their line of Robinsons. I am looking specifically for Jedediah and Elizabeth and their parents, where they lived and other siblings. Thanks Sara-Lee Beller
