Hi, I am looking for a Jeree Anderson whom I communicated with about 9 years ago. I know it will be a long shot, but I'll try it anyway. I would like to talk to her about a email I got from her back then, I think there might be a connection to our Robinson families. I tried to notify her when I changed my email address, but didn't get a response, so I'm assuming she has changed it. I want to know if she has a Louis Langer in her Genealogy family somewhere. I ask because in going over her brief info she mentions that George W. Robinson lived in Devils Lake N.D. and in Kansas, Nebraska. Louis Langer died in Devils Lake, N.D. I'm thinking there has to be a connection. Thank You Pat Boyer in AZ

Then scroll down to the Robertsons. Our group is R1bO10AC All the names of our EKA's are listed there. My brother and I are descended from John's son, Jacob and thence to Jacob's son, Samuel Robertson who married Elizabeth Harris. Go into your local library to the Genealogy section and ask if they have the Heritage Quest available from home. Heritage does not have 1840 or 1850 census on line. Our library has Ancestry that one can use in the library only. Free census records and other public records: try pilot.familysearch.org - this should allow you to access images, after you locate someone using the index, so you can look at the illegible writing yourself! (such fun . . . ) it is incomplete (and i suppose always will be), but people are working on it all the time, making it more complete hope this helps someone b On Fri, Sep 11, 2009 at 12:01 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. I like www.familysearch.com They don't have a huge selection of census records, but do have lots of complete online death, draft cards & other records via the new beta records search. Direct at: http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start I also use Heritage Quest when I can. I prefer Ancetry.com but don't have my membership updated right now either. Rootsweb is your friend, I always go there first, remembering many of the items are user-submitted and will need "proving." Good luck! Hi, One way these errors arise (in part) is due to the way various genealogy programs add data, including the web-based systems like Ancestry.com. If you mindlessly click ADD on a family tree, without painstakingly going through every entry and checking it for accuracy, you have added it. Unfortunately, it can be extremely difficult to remove it later. Lalia Robinson Wilson In a message dated 9/10/2009 6:11:08 P.M.
