Here is the continuation of the updates: New Kit#161127, EKA Unknown has four close matches in the Other R1b Group New Kit#N45614, EKA Unknown has been placed in the Other R1b Group. New Kits 129742 and 99786 have both been placed in the Other R1b Group this two are a 34/37 match and have a 96% probability of sharing a common ancestor within the past 16 generations New Kit #115976, EKA James M. Robison is in the Other R1b group with no close matches. New Kits N57320, EKA Unknown and 157204, EKA William Robertson 1759- Aft 1840) have been placed in the Niall of the Nine Hostages group. Kit#157204 is an exact match on all 37 markers and Kit #N57320 is an 11/12 match, Technically, you must be a 12/12 to fit into this group, but I can't see any reason why the single mutation might not be very recent. Kit N57320 might consider upgrading to see how well he stays with the group. New Kits 102852 and 146955 have been placed in the Thomas Robinson of NC group and both are close matches with the others in that group. New Kit #161255, EKA Samuel Robison (1765-1826) is in the I Group with no close matches to this point. New Kits N72498 and 162749, both with unknown EKAs are in the I group with no close matches. Thats all for the new kits. I will start now on the upgrades. Don -- Donald E. I am in the process of updating the DNA page and have the following to report: New Kit# 159291, EKA Chase Robinson, b. 1791 of Canada is a 12/12 match with Kit#134335, EKA Abiather Smith Robinson b. 1829 of New York. Both of these are an 11/12 match with Kit#15058, EKA John Robinson died, November 1627 of Meppershall, England. These first two kits should upgrade to better determine how close the relationship is. New Kit#53325, EKA Johnny Warren Roberson has been placed in the I Haplogroup, but only because this is where his closest match belongs. His actual haplogroup has not been reported yet. I will change if necessary after I receive more info. New Kit#142873, EKA Unknown, has been placed in the Other R1b group and has no close match. New Kits 144044 and 144672, for whom I do not have a clear EKA, have been place in the John Robinson of Goochland Co., VA group. They are exact matches with several from that group. New Kit#A3071 has been placed in the Misc. Group 4 New Kits, 65774, Thomas Rice Robertson (1826-1864) of VA; 72634 Unknown; 91783 Unknown and 162946, Henry T. Roberson (1836-1883) of MO are all at least 36/37 matches. They have been placed in with the I Haplogroup. New Kit#121892, EKA Frank Pines Robinson is in the Misc group. New Kit#155340, EKA Unknown is placed in the Misc R1b group. This kit had several close matches on the lower panel but they all fell apart on the higher markers. New Kit#N69230 has been placed in the Egg Harbor group and has a lot of 11/12 matches in our database. This needs an upgrade as most of the matches in this group fall apart at the higher panels. New Kit#130842, EKA Unknown is also in the Egg Harbor group and is a 36/37 match with Kit#5121, EKA George Robinson of Egg Harbor. Upgrade for Kit#124826, EKA Cornelius Robinson of MI also shows a 36/37 match with Kit#5121, EKA George Robinson of Egg Harbor. This kit is a 35/37 match with New Kit#130842 referenced above. That is all I have time for tonight. I still have 13 more kits to do tomorrow and the new upgrades. Thank you again to everyone for your patience and your participation. Don Drake -- Donald E. I would appreciate any assistance that you could give me regarding this family. My great grandfather John Charles Robinson came to NZ with his wife Annie Cooper arriving in 1880. with 2 children who were born in Frieston, Linc. I have had problems trying to get back to the location of J.C's parents and families. The old family bible and photo albums that I have are a bit mutilated and photos are all mixed up and many unnamed. The family is listed on the flyleaf of the bible, which is helpful. I would certainly appreciate you handing on my e-mail address - any assistance is most gratefully accepted. Pics of the village gravestones etc would be a treasure and certainly be very helpful in putting "flesh" on my ancestors. My e-mail is: [email protected] Many thanks for your help. kind regards Judy Thompson, Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Wm Robinson junior(aged 25) lived in Brandon Old Hall in 1841 and for many years later. In 1851 Wm Robinson senior (79) was living with Frederick at Church Lane Farm. There was also Richard Robinson at Brandon Lodge. The family continued at the Old Hall and Brandon Lodge for most of the 19th century and a William was still there in 1891, but then the family seems to have died out (they're all buried at Hough on the Hill). We're transcribing records and setting up a village website so we have more details. If you send an email address we'll pass them on when we get time. We can also send pictures of the village, gravestones etc if that would help. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
