Robinson, 77, formerly of East Pike, Zanesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at 6:02 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Herb retired in 1994 from United Technology in Zanesville after 32 years as maintenance lead man. He was born January 2, 1932 in Stovertown, Ohio to the late Granville and Florence (Gillespie) Robinson. Herb was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, and enjoyed square dancing and wood working. Surviving are his son, Gregory Robinson and wife Anne of Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Sarah and William; one sister, Faye Outland of Zanesville; and one brother, Paul Robinson of Celina, Ohio. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death is his wife, JoAnn Robinson who passed away December 11, 2000; his brother, Lloyd Robinson; and three half brothers, Harold, Orris, and William. Friends may call Saturday, January 2, 2010, 3 to 6 at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls, Ohio. The funeral will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Pastor James Peters officiating and burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
