I am interested in finding more information on James BRAMAN who m. 3 Dec. 1721, Westerly, RI, Elizabeth Carpenter. James Braman was born 12 Nov. 1697, in So. Kingston, Washington Co., RI and Elizabeth Carpenter was b. 4 Jan. 1702, also in South Kingston. I believe they had some children in Washington Co., RI and then came to Voluntown, New London Co., CT where seven children were born starting in 1730. It appears that James died prior to 1 Feb. 1740 when his youngest daughter, Esther, was born as her mother is listed as a widow. Any help much appreciated! Joann Nichols [email protected]
