Naturally I need to check the primary source and will do so when I can visit an FHC or return to New England this summer. Unfortunately that will be several months from now. Its possible that the transcriber erred in reading the name in the deeds. Daniel and David might easily resemble each other, depending on how they were written. The n and the v could be similar and both names end with a letter that could loop and cause one to misread. Im inclined to believe that Daniel LEWIS was the father of Mary who married John LANGWORTHY. Ultimate confirmation has to wait. I greatly appreciate your taking time to consider this matter and to provide me with sound feedback. David Hoffman -- http://www.fastmail.fm - Choose from over 50 domains or use your own
