John Foster Not sure if this means anything to your search but: As stated a Mary Lewis married Richard Deake. Her father was John Lewis who was born in England and died in Westerly, RI 1690. His nephew, John Deake married Hannah Foster. Her father was John Foster born in Salem, MA. Daniel Lewis of Westerly, RI married Martha Prosser from Somersetshire, England. I am trying to prove the last name of my old known grandmother and it has been speculated that her name was Susannah Prosser and she married George Deake (parents of John Deake mentioned above). I also believe (but have yet to prove) that Richard and George Deake came from Minehead, Somerset, England. None of this ties to the Mary Lewis that you are looking for but there is a lot of linkages here between families. John, One correction, if I may. The Mary Lewis who m. Richard Deake was the granddaughter, rather than the daughter, of English immigrant John Lewis who d. near Westerly ca 1890. She was the dau. of John's son, John Jr., b.in RI ca 1660, d. in Westerly in 1735.
