This is in response to the inquiry as to the teacher at this school by the name of 'Lucy Randall'. She married a Clarke. (2nd marriage, I think). Her husband's name was Albert Clarke Sr. He passed away in 1962 at the age of 91. They lived in Wakefield. Somehow there were some 'Dawley's' in her family relationship as she often spoke of her Dawley grandchildren. Lucy had a son named 'Randall' that she also spoke of often. Lucy was 89 years old in 1972. Lucy was a member of the Rhode Island Writers Guild. She was a poet. Won many awards for her poetry. She even had a book published with some of her best poems. And one of her poems "Galilee Lights" was set to music. She was National Poetry Day Chairman for Rhode Island and her poems were read on TV. This was back in the 1960s. My dear Cousin Herb has just sent me a map of Rhode Island - vintage 1902. This certainly puts locations in a much better perspective for that time frame. My grandfather was a trustee in his school district. Too bad I can't ask him regarding this school. There was a 'Clarke' connection in our family tree as well.
