In 1766 my ancestor (Charles Deake) sold his land in Hopkinton, RI to Abraham Utter. So you might start with part of the family in the Hopkinton area. Hi Did a quick search and hopefully this will give you a start. Found in R.I. Genealogical Register Chapter 15 pgs 311-314 NICHOLAS UTTER b 1634 Sweden Ist wife ? 2nd Wife Elizabeth b 1643 Children all by 1st wife. Children born Stonnington Ct,Westerly,R.I. and Kingstowne,R.I. Jabez 1660,Thomas 1667,Nicholas 1671,Millicent 1673,Sarah 1677,William 1679 William Utter 1679-1761 married Anne Stone 1682 to 5-22-1762. They are buried in Historical Cemetery # 63 which is called the Utter-Arnold-Rhodes Lot and it is located off Easton Road in the Lakewood section of Warwick,R.I.
