    3. Thanx Donna. I knew you had a Stedman, we've talked before. I'm still trying to find a Sabrina in all of those names. I saw the Reynolds and figured maybe??????? Holden's middle initial is "R" so I thought perhaps he was named after her maiden name or a relative of hers. It's called grasping at straws................... I'm fairly certain now (without actual proof proof) that Holden was the son of Samuel Norris Jaquays who married Sabrina ?, -----------did I tell you of my good fortune in finding what I feel is a brother to Holden, thus more siblings? I was so elated. A maiden name for Sabrina would be another terrific find. Pat J.

    3. Pat, I can give you a lead on the Holden part. And this ties in very well... Maybe. A Holden Remington (b. 1765, Warwick, s/o Ruel Remington and Roby Rice) married Dorcas Stedman who was a daughter of Thomas Stedman and Mary Perry. Mary's twin sister Susannah Perry married Thomas's brother Daniel Stedman who was the grandfather of Meribah Stedman who married William Jacquays. Almost every male named Holden that I have found in Washington County is somehow related to Holden Remington or his uncle Holden Rice. Maybe others with male Holdens would care to help me prove or disprove that. I believe that the name Holden is derived from the Holden surname and that somewhere there is a connection between the Rice family and the Holden family but I have not been able to prove anything. There is a lot of murkiness in this family ... Ruel's family is not well documented. I have identified 4 children but I am sure there were more. john. 3. Thank you John, every lead or clue can be of help, I am trying to maybe tie these names in with Jaquay. Quite a job and I appreciate both you and Donna replying. Pat
