Hi Pat, I have Samuel Norris Jaquays (or however you want to spell the last name!) who also used the name Norris Jaquays. He was born before 1755 based on census info and these are the notes I have for him:This is the Norris Jaquays who in 1794 was granted a certificate from SK to Richmond for himself and his wife. He apparently was known as Norris to distinguish him from the other Samuels. His age was between 26 and 45. Since there was no mention of any children the children under 10 must have been born after 1794. The male who was between 16 and 26 could very well have been a brother or in-law. This may be the Samuel who married Sabrina (---) = no record of the marriage ceremony has been found but the one who m. Sabrina appears in the census as Samuel N. and was born in RI from census info. My best guess is that this Samuel is the son of Nathan and Jemima Jacwaise but I do not have solid proof. Donna
