Bev, There are plenty of Clarks in Charlestown. I was looking at the Probate records last night at the local FHC and found plenty. And there are plenty in William Wright's book too. As a matter of fact, I am looking for Sheldon Clark who married Sarah (Babcock) Thompson about 1840 in (I think Westerly) after her first husband, Nathan Thompson died. I think Sarah might be my gg grandfather's (Joseph Loomer Thompson's) mother. Charlie King gg grandson of Jospeh Loomer Thompson born 1821 someplace in CT On Mon, 17 Feb 2003 09:43:45 -0600 Beverly Clark <anniespl@netins.net> writes: > Dear Charles: > In your Wright book, do you have any Clarks from Charlestown area? > We are > trying to locate our kin in that area.
