As best I can tell, John Ure married Jane McKim in the late 1850s. He was from Scotland and she from Ireland. They had a son, William Arthur Ure (1869-?), born in NY, but living in Westerly, RI by the 1890s. He is listed in the 1890 Directory for Westerly, RI. William Arthur Ure is listed in the 1930 census for Newark, NJ, and I have confirmed him as my direct relative. Jane McKim Ure (1825-1906) is buried in River Bend Cemetery, Westerly, RI. She, I'm sure, is my direct relative. All other Ure names I need to piece together. If anyone has information, please contact me. Thanks. Chris Jamison
