I just looked up James R. and Emeline in the 1850 census - they did NOT have a daughter Emeline with them and Emeline T is listed as Tacy E. Edwards) - not an uncommon thing - i think Emeline T and Tacy E are the same. BUT next door to James and Tacy were Emeline's parents, Simon and Mary, ages 61 and 60 - with a 12 year old, Amy A. with them - could she be the daughter of Emeline before Emeline and James were married? Emeline is referred to as Amelia Kenyon in one records in Beaman's New Series? It seems to me this group had trouble with Amy, Amelia and Emeline - or the census takers, etc did! In 1850 James R. Edwrads and Tacy E. Edwrads had a son James R with them - in Beaman's his mother is referred to as Amelia. Donna in RI
