I for one have found several ancestors- Joseph Saunders, Lydia Crandall Saunders, Russell Saunders and wife Catharine. Now if I could only find out what happened to Russell's daughter's mother-in-law, I could close a chapter on my Crandall line. Her name was Dorcas Crandall, b 1782 d unk., daughter of John CRANDALL and Anna Gardner. Apparently she never married but had at least one child, John CRANDALL, b 1809, Westerly, dies 1897, Macomb county, MI. Would she have been bannished or somehow ostracized (sp?) by her family or town? Someplace I have that she must have died after 1819, but when and where? Would she have been able to marry? Her son and his wife, Sally Saunders, moved to MI in about 1835 or 40. I am thinking that maybe she died before then as there is no record of her being in MI. If John was her only child and if she was banished by her family, I would suspect that she would move wherever her son moved. Any and all info on her would be more than welcome, that's for sure! Cousin Earl had no record of her after 1819 with the Crandall Family Association. Thanks again for posting the cemetary lists that you did. Dan Harriman Orange, Texas . If at first you don't succeed, maybe you shouldn't try sky diving! dit dit --=======4261DE4======= Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; x-avg=cert; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-478A51EC Content-Disposition: inline --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
