Later his decendants that are related to me are at Stonnington, Connecticut, Westerly, Rhode Island, Preston, Connecticut and finally Greenwich and neighbouring Stamford, Connecticut. Nicholas Utter Sr. was a Swede who first settled at New Sweden in 1654 and remained in America after New Sweden was taken by the Dutch and at some point after that made his to Rhode Island.
