    3. A woman, also a Tallman descendent. wrote a well researched paper on his life. It is referenced on the Tallman web site, TallmanL@rootsweb.com. Some of the other stuff is from family history and from a paper on the China Trade published by the University of Rhode Island Maritime people. If you live in Rhode Island the South County Museum in Narragansett has some stuff on the maritime use of Narragansett Bay. Check to see if it is still there. The DNA test of Tallman descendents is also interesting. My brother did it and it came out positive, It can only be done with men descended directly from men. Actually, I have two Tallman ancestors, both sons of Peter, they are Jonathan and Benjamin. ----- Original Message ----- From: <DonnaRNCEN@aol.com> To: <RIWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 04, 2003 2:04 PM Subject: Re: [RIWASHIN] Smiths, Gereardys nd Reynolds > In a message dated 5/4/2003 10:52:12 AM Eastern Standard Time, > genevatm@comcast.net writes: > > > > accept the challenge for New Amsterdam trade, curious behavior et al. > > This is about one of my ancestors, Peter Tallman, originally Peter Taelmann > > Hi, > Peter is also my ancestor.
