There are many Seth Whites. It seems all living at the same time. It's funny, yesterday I was reading and looking into James from Rhode Island. Today I get to communicate with a descendant! This is so fun. I have come to believe that I may be related to the Nicholas White family, however, I just found a document that refers to him as a cousin of Nicholas and Phillip. Dr. Arthaud wrote an article in TAG in 1972(not sure of exact date) claiming that Abel White was the unrecorded son of Nicholas White. I don't think so anymore. Especially in light of his military service in the French and Indian War. HE would have been only 12 at the time he served. Then again maybe all the dates are wrong. He also served with a company comprised of men from Windham county. He was born in Woodstock. I think a trip to Woodstock is in order.
