Here they are in 1880. From the younger children's birthplace, it looks like they lived in Connecticut for awhile, certainly in 1870. Suggest you try and track down immigration papers which usually show where the immigrant is from. Also, if she came over with her parents, you might find her with them. Did she ever become a citizen? (also on 1900 census) If so, try looking for citizenship papers. Here is the only Bedord I could find in RI or CT. Perhaps he is related.
