Hi : Does anyone have any CD's or access to any passenger lists for the port of Newport. I have an ancestor that landed there in the mid 1820's My ancestor was a Laughlin Dowling. Could anyone help me with this lookup. Steve Wilder Florida

NARA lists Newport RI 1820-57 in M575 roll # 6. You should be able to rent it at your local LDS Family History Center for viewing there. It would be the second port on the roll.
