Pat, I'm not doing Budlongs but checked the census images. There are 8 Budlongs in RI, all in Warwick, Kent, in 1790; NONE are named Isaac. The RI Budlongs are Benjamin James John Moses Nathan Rhodes Samuel Stephen. There are 2 in Windham, CN, and three in NY, Albany and Columbia counties. In 1800 there are 20 Budlongs, again no Isaac's. 11 are in Warwick, Kent RI. 4 are in Oneida, NY and 6 in Herkimer. Suggest you check out Warwick vitals to start! Perhaps they will help you figure which Budlong to follow! They may have all come from there! Do you have a location in NY? My Northups from RI moved to Oneida County in the 1790s. Happy Holidays! I am seeking information about Mary Budlong who married Daniel Towner. According to the Towner family books, she was born in RI 1778, married 1800 in NY. No note made on when or where she died. Her husband is noted to have died in Michigan. Mary Budlong & Daniel Towner named their first son , Isaac Budlong Towner. Was her father's name Isaac? Anyone working on this line? I descend from Mary & Daniel's youngest of 14 children, Ezra C. Towner.
